I worked for BP for 21 years until the refinery closed down after which I held a number of positions Internationally working in the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, West Africa, my last position held was Operations & Maintenance Manager (Plant Integrity) in Caracas, Venezuela. My experience has ranged from hands-on supervision to managerial level gained mainly in the O&G sector, both field based and home office. I have been involved in pre-operations, development of O&M systems (i.e. strategies, policies, procedures, work tasks), selection and development of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, development of bid proposal documents, andProject Management.

Piping designer engineer:  In depth knowledge of AutoCAD, PDMS (3D model), IPDS (3d model )  Over 7 years full and comprehensive experience in capacities as Senior Piping Designer, Piping checker, and Piping Designer in plant design and lay out in Petro-Chemical  industry. Also 3 years working as the Lead Engineer in Petro-Chemical structural projects. Part of the time has also been spent in the site to check design.

Management Consultant to the Government of Egypt Project for Privatisation of the Public Sector of the Egyptian Chemical Industries; Process Engineering Consultant to Jacobs Engineering Nederland NV., Leiden Holland, for a new offshore gas compression platform built to increase gas production facilities in the Dutch North Sea

Joint venture project between Snamprogetti Milan and CCIC Athens for the expansion of  the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company refinery in Ruwais to a capacity of 230,000 barrels per day. Appointed contracts manager, duties involved contract risk analysis and  the general monitoring of company contractually related matters including those of a technical nature; claims auditing; preparation  of  insurance claims. Activities involved extensive liaison with ADNOC and their managing contractor namely Foster Wheeler UK, and CCIC senior management.    

Exceptional range of international experience covering design, site and project management on platforms, wellhead, processing and petrochems installations - all process plant, equipment and pipework ( in depth, including fabrication, refurbish, hook-up, commissioning ). Graduated with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng Hons) and currently a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE) as well as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). Extensive experience on a variety of projects and proposals in the Petro-Chem, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power Generation, Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemicals and Process industries, ranging from plant debottlencking to complete grass root turn key installations on projects within the UK and abroad. Senior/Lead Equipment Project Engineer with over thirteen years experience. 

Fully qualified professional Consultant/Rotating /Mechanical/Commissioning Engineer with 25 years experience in project management, design, maintenance,procurement ,and commissioning , engineering and construction for the oil and gas, Offshore & Onshore projects, petrochemical, process plant, FCC/LPG/NGL/Refineries, and food industries. World-wide experience on major projects, from economic feasibility study, conceptual design, front-end engineering through detailed design to technical and management support during equipment fabrication, testing, field installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
