Full working and Project use of various CAD systems and applications namely:’ Microstation’ 2D & 3D,  ‘Intergraph PDS Piping Designer’, Isometric Manager, PDS Equipment Modeler, PDS Drawing Manager & PDS Design Review.  Full Project working use of ‘PDMS on Silicone Graphics’ (Pipework, Equipment, Isometrics, Spooling) Have worked at various Offshore Fabrication Sites and ‘Hook-Ups’ with ‘follow-on’ Engineering, field surveys, design changes, piping alignment to rotating equipment, test engineering ‘field punch’ and Completion of Piping systems up to Commissioning and Production start-up phases.  Have fulfilled various combined Piping Designer/ Field Engineer functions with on-site CAD design and special assistance to Production departments at various fabrication/assembly sites.

I have extensive detail design experience including ten years offshore pipework, pharmaceutical site design, pipe supports and  structural detailing. I have some thirteen years shipbuilding detail design experience, specialising in pipework for various classes of merchant and naval vessels. I am used to working within detailed specifications and the use of industry standards.

I have gained experience in the areas of NDT Inspection/Supervision,Welding Inspection and QC Piping Inspection in the Power and Nuclear,Petrochem. and Oil and Gas industries,both construction and maintenance,on- and offshore,on various projects throughout Europe,Africa,the Middle East and the Far East.I have worked with people of various nationalities,am flexible,adaptable and able to work across cultural and geographical boundaries. Major companies worked for include: Babcock Power;Unit Inspection(CHEL);ADGAS(Abu Dhabi) and TRC(Thai Refinery Contructors--a Fluor Daniel/Asia Badger joint venture).

Construction Piping / Hydrotest / Mechanical Engineering in both senior and Field Engineer levels working with various company codes and specs while writing many procedures, I have gained very good experience and insight into working procedures, relationships, safety standards and man management. Having worked in the UK, Europe, Canada, Middle East, Far East and Russia, I gained experience on new Greenfield sites, productive Oil and Gas Terminals, Module Yards, FPSO`s and Fabrication Workshops with installation on productive Oil Gas Platforms in the North Sea,           Caspian Sea and the South China Sea.
